Monitoring Graduate Employment is one of the most effective tools for analyzing and assessing the quality and usefulness (relevance) of higher education, as well as assessing the relationship between the labor market and higher education.

MTV is a standardized survey of graduates of educational institutions, which is carried out within a certain period of time after graduation. (12-24 months)

The content and goals of the alumni survey can be quite broad, but the generally accepted survey subjects cover issues related to the quality of the educational process, channels and period of job search by graduates, professional growth, use of acquired knowledge, current type of activity and interaction with the educational institution.

Piloting Monitoring of Graduate Employment (MTB) as a tool was held in 2019 within the framework of the Higher Education Development project funded by the World Bank and with the support of the Government of Tajikistan, and the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Tajikistan. The full implementation of the alumni survey will directly contribute to the achievement of the common vision and goals of the National Development Strategy 2030 to ensure effective employment and increase the working capacity of the rapidly growing population of the Republic of Tajikistan.
